Cocadiethanol Amide is manufactured by reacting the mixture of fatty acids obtained from coconut oil with diethanolamine. This viscous liquid is used as a foaming agent in products such as shampoos and hand wash. It is also an active ingredient in cosmetic industries where it plays the role of an emulsifying agent. This is a yellowish brown colored liquid which is used as a foam booster and viscosity builder for soapy materials.
